Feldman's Violin And Orchestra

It is had to imagine a more radiant recording of Morton Feldman's work than the 2001 release of The Viola In My Life yet this new release just might be it. The breathtakingly luminous, suspended, time-altering beauty of this performance lifts it into a realm which it shares with very few others. There is a dissolving of form and distance which is always present in Feldman's ensemble pieces but here it is achieved to a degree which boarders on the supernatural.
