Miroslaw Balka - DIE TRAUMDEUTUNG 25,31m AMSL - White Cube - Mason's Yard

This is part of a two part show, the second currently installed in the Freud Museum in London. Miroslaw Balka, who's work is rigorously conceptual, often dealing in physical sensations and orientation, here uses forms, architectural intervention and sound to provoke and intrigue the viewer. The artist is a master at linking apparently disparate references and reactions. Here, despite the usual solemnity of his ideas and materials there is an element of dark humor which is entirely disarming. Until the 31st of May.
